SOULSCAPES - 2024
SOULSCAPES is an original collection of contemporary landscapes. I paint these landscapes intuitively not from what I see, but rather from what I feel. I allow myself to surrender to the process of letting the paint flow freely on the canvas. It is a process of trust and letting go!
This body of work has an organic feel that explores layers, light and luminosity. Each artwork gets a final signature of embroidery thread stitched into the canvas, adding a very unique touch to the painting.
Art of Flow - 2019
The Art of Flow is an original series that was created with alcohol inks. Each artwork speaks about life and our inner emotions. It provokes our feelings, whether those feelings are joyful, energetic or a sense of clarity. The colours and vibrancy also play a role in which feelings are being provoked. This is the beauty of abstract art - we all see and feel something different when we view the work.
Seeds of Thought - 2018
Seeds of Thought is an original series of works that encourage the viewer to focus on positive thoughts. I am hoping that the viewer will enjoy the delicate dance between the movement of the paint and the vibrancy of the colours. My aim is that each work will plant a seed of thought in your subconscious mind, which in turn will bring you great joy and happiness.
